Renata Vos
Owner, fiction buyer
Has read everything in the front room at least once, and will tell you honestly if a book isn't for you.
Come sit a while
We're a narrow storefront with three rooms behind it: fiction and poetry up front, the used-books room in the back, and a reading room upstairs that smells faintly of old paper and better coffee than a bookshop needs.
Practical matters
Street parking is metered but plentiful after 6 PM, and the bus stops two doors down. If the front door is propped open, we're in. If it's raining, Comma will be on the windowsill, judging the weather.
Inside the shop
Who you'll meet
Owner, fiction buyer
Has read everything in the front room at least once, and will tell you honestly if a book isn't for you.
Poetry & events
Runs the poetry circle and the reading series. Ask him about anything published before 1970.
Resident cat, quality control
Sleeps on whatever he considers the best book on the table. Not always right, rarely wrong.
Before you go
We'll tell you what's new on the table before it's gone, and when the next reading is. One email a week, written by an actual person.
